Baby, It's Cold Outside!

Yes, it is. Freeeeezing!

It has been snowing all day long, and ahhh it's been wonderful. How perfect since tomorrow is Christmas day! Josh told me this will be the first white Christmas Dallas/Fort Worth has had since 1926. Wow! How did we get so lucky? The snow started out kind of light earlier today, but within a couple of hours it was really coming down. So I decided to bundle Noah up and let him play around in the snow. I wasn't sure what he would think about playing in the snow and the cold weather, but he loved it! He played and played and played. It was so cute! Here is sweet little Noah and his first snow experience.

Poor baby. He was so cold when he decided he was finished playing. So I started up a bath for him and let him soak and play for a while so he could warm up. Thank goodness for those warm baths!

We have had a quiet {did I really say quiet?} Christmas Eve at home tonight, and I have loved every minute of being with my little guys. We only wish Daddy was home with us, but since we were out of town the past few days, he had to go back to work. Such is life. But we're headed out of town again {this time to Amarillo} on Sunday to see Josh's side of the family, and it's going to be a lot of fun. We are really excited.

Before I say goodnight, I wanted to show you a video called "Down at the Manager." I love this video because it portrays the true meaning of Christmas so clearly. Happy birthday Jesus, our precious Savior.

Josh, Noah, Einstein, and I wish you a very Merry Christmas!

Winter Wonderland & 500 Miles

Well, not quite. But this week we have had some really cold weather, and it actually snowed {a little bit} yesterday! Yes siree. Early Wednesday morning while I was making Noah breakfast, I looked out the window, and to my surprise I saw snow falling. I thought I remember someone telling me it never snowed in Fort Worth. Um. Guess that's not true. It was such a beautiful, peaceful snow fall. Of course, a couple hours later I would have never been able to prove we had any snow because it didn't stick to the ground, but what a nice little winter surprise to enjoy, even if it was only for a couple hours.

Can you believe it? And, I hear we are supposed to get some more snow tomorrow!

-------------------------

I'm sure you have all heard of the song "I'm Gonna Be {500 miles}" by the Proclaimers, right? Well... little Noah is walking all. over. the. place. Oh, and did I mention he is getting into everything! I seriously think those little legs walk at least 500 miles a day. Noah has been walking for the past month, but he would go back and forth between walking and crawling. Not anymore. He is walking at least 95% of the time now, and has gotten to the point where he is comfortable on his feet, so once he gets going, he is moving... fast! And boy is it cute!

I'm really gonna have to keep a close eye on him now!

It's snowing! In March?!

I can't believe I haven't posted since Monday! Josh and I were sitting down to eat an early dinner since I have to go into work tonight, and we looked out the window, and it was snowing! Not just a light dusting either -- it was really coming down. But in March!? We don't live in Chicago; Texas is supposed to be warm in March. We had a pretty mild winter this year, so I guess better late than never. Wow! It's so beautiful and it is Noah's first time to really notice the snow. Josh and Noah sat by the window to watch it fall, and the snow really had Noah's attention for all of 2 minutes. Anyway, here are a few pictures of Noah and Daddy enjoying the snow.
