I Have A Major...

...headache right now.

I have taken three Tylenol, but nothing seems to help. I'm afraid I may have been too cocky last night with my "Super Mom" post. Let me explain.

Tonight after we finished eating dinner I asked Josh, "Would you rather clean the kitchen or give Noah a bath?" He decided he would take on the task of cleaning the kitchen. So I turned on the bath water while getting everything ready for Noah's bath, and suddenly (I have no idea what happened) here I was:

Yes, that's right. I fell in a bath tub FULL of water! (I wasn't smiling at that point.) Josh and Noah both looked at me with shocked expressions on their faces. I guess I'm not "Super Mom" after all.

And that is why I have a major headache!

The Lost Pictures

Thank goodness our computer has a lot of memory on it. I think it's called RAM?? Well whatever it's called, it's a good thing we have it because I think I have taken about a million pictures. Seriously. I'm not joking. I LOVE to take pictures. And I especially love to take pictures of Noah. In fact, I have toyed with the idea of getting myself one of these or something like it:

Well... definitely not now. But maybe eventually after I save some money I can get one. Josh told me that if I do get one I have to take classes to learn how to use it. I agree. But as for now, my little pink camera is wonderful and I'm so thankful to have it to be able to capture memories of our sweet little Noah.

Anyway, as I was scrolling through pictures tonight I came across some I realized I had not posted. They're of Noah playing with Jacob and Denae, some of his church buddies. We had a baby boom at our church, so they are all close in age.

Noah, Jacob, and Denae all posing for the picture. You have no idea how difficult it is trying to get three babies to look at me all at the same time.

Noah and Jacob. Aren't they just the cutest little boys you've ever seen?!

Playing together so well.

The next picture is of Noah and Angie, one of his Sunday School teachers and a very close friend of mine. Both Noah and I miss Angie!

We really miss our church family in Amarillo. I have to be honest, it was difficult going to another church this past weekend. The people were wonderful and very warm and welcoming, but it's just not the same. However, change is good, and we are very excited to join New Life Deaf Fellowship, and we know God has a plan for our family there. Please pray for us as we become a part of the family at NLDF.

Hope you are keeping up with me! I told you I was going to be posting a lot this week. Have a great night!

Pulling Up!

I should have posted this one about a month ago, but as you all know, packing and moving kinda consumed my every waking moment and ounce of energy for a couple of weeks. So I am trying my best to get caught up!

What an active little guy we have around here! I'm not lying when I say Noah is ALL over the place. Needless to say, we have had to baby proof the house. And let me tell you, those stupid plug covers are almost impossible to get out once they are in there. We decided to spend an extra dollar or two to buy some fancy plug covers with a button that helps pop them out. Of course, it probably won't be long before Noah figures out how to press that button. Oh the joys of baby proofing!

One evening I was giving Noah a bath, and he was having fun as usual playing with his rubber ducky and plastic cup. All of a sudden I looked up and saw the little ducky and cup floating at the end of the tub. Noah had enough of those boring toys.

It was time to explore! Noah began to pull himself up to his knees and even up on his feet as he held on to the side of the tub. Let's just say, since that night rubber ducky and the plastic cup haven't been as interesting as they use to be. Pulling himself up on the side of the tub is WAY more fun!

Here are a few pictures I have taken over the past month of Noah pulling himself up to his knees. What a little sweetie pie!

I guess chewing on the wood feels good on his teeth?

Hmmm... I wonder what's in here?

"Mommy, look what I found!"

"Books!"

Pulling up is not always as easy as it seems.

But with a little determination, it can be done!

I Should Have Known...

... Noah would be into electronics.

Apparently, Noah is very interested in the same things his daddy is. Noah is drawn to electronics: the iPhone, the Play Station 3, computer cords, remotes... you get the idea, and when he spots those things, he wants them!

Noah playing with Daddy's iPhone (Josh, do we have insurance on that thing?!)

Computer cords, phone charger cords, ear phone cords! Noah LOVES to play with cords!

Noah has even learned how to put a DVD in the Play Station 3! What a smart little guy!

Josh and Noah are definitely two peas in a pod!

First Words

I never knew the word "Mama" could melt my heart the way it does when it comes from Noah's mouth. Yep, Noah said "Mama!" And it is the sweetest thing I've ever heard. He may not know yet that I am Mama and Josh is Dada, but he is talking and it is precious!

The first time Noah said "Mama" was on June 1st, which was the day we moved into our new home. I will never forget that day for those two reasons. Noah loves to say "Mama," and I love hearing it! There is just something about hearing your child talk for the first time.

Noah is also learning to lift his hand to say bye bye and it's funny because he will mouth "bye bye" in a soft whisper. So so sweet. Noah is beginning to imitate words, sounds, and actions. It's amazing how quickly he is picking up on things. My little baby is growing so fast, but what fun it is to see him learn and grow.

Ok I'll stop talking now and let you see the video of Noah's first words. Here it is!
