I love November--the month of Thanksgiving.
It's such a wonderful time of the year, isn't it?
But just like any month, we will have our ups and downs.

Sometimes it is easy to give thanks.
Other times, well, it takes a conscious effort.
I love the gentle reminder
1 Thessalonians 5:18 gives:
"Be thankful in all circumstances."
What a good reminder for me today.

ReplyDeleteSuch a good reminder. Especially for me right now (we are waiting for our house to sell, moved to a new state - 9 hrs from our families, living in someone else's place with someone else's stuff, and trying to be patient and THANKFUL). THANK YOU!
ReplyDeleteThis is a good reminder for me as well. Something further we could meditate on is "why would God say this to us?" I have already started meditating on that (thanks to your reminder) and am being blessed by the answers that the Lord is helping me to realize!

It's a very short verse, but has such a huge meaning! We take so much for granted, and it's the little reminders like this that keep us thankful for what we do have! Thank you so much for sharing! :)
